Who are you?
Zando is a small New Zealand studio that hand-crafts leather wallets, belts and other everyday carry essentials.
Where are your products made?
Every piece is cut, stitched and finished right here in New Zealand by our own team of makers.
Product Basics
What leather do you use?
Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather from ethical tanneries. It’s strong, ages well and gains a rich patina.
Why are your wallets different?
They’re handmade one at a time, built for purpose and reinforced where mass-produced wallets usually fail.
Will the leather patina?
Yes. With regular use it darkens, softens and becomes uniquely yours.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We ship from Auckland, New Zealand to customers nationwide and to selected destinations worldwide.
How long until my order ships?
Because every piece is handcrafted to order, please allow up to two weeks for us to make your item before it leaves the workshop.
How long does delivery take within New Zealand?
Once your order ships, NZ delivery usually takes two to five business days.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes. Typical transit times are five to ten business days to Australia and will vary for other countries depending on distance and customs.
We appreciate your patience—when something is made with heart, it’s always worth the wait.
Care & Maintenance
How do I look after my wallet?
Keep it dry, avoid direct heat, and condition it lightly every few months.
Which conditioner should I use?
Any neutral, quality leather balm. Test a small spot first.
Custom & Personal
Can I order a custom wallet?
Sometimes. Email your idea and we’ll let you know if our schedule allows.
Do you offer embossing?
Not yet, but it’s on our roadmap. Check with us for updates.
Returns & Exchanges
What if my item arrives damaged?
Email us within seven days and we’ll replace or refund it.
Can I exchange for a different colour?
Contact us within seven days.
